Doing something nice for a family member or a close friend, especially during the holiday season, is a wonderful idea. Acts of kindness between friends and relatives become more commonplace towards the end of the year as people feel more encouraged to show their love and appreciation for each other. People go out of their way for the holidays to do little things for the ones they love to show they care, which makes this holiday season my favorite time of the year.
Reddit user gophercuresself has a sister who suggested doing something special for a younger niece. This DIY project will certainly put you in the holiday spirit.
Sometimes, the most thoughtful gifts aren’t the most grandiose, but ones you can tell careful effort, time, and energy were put into them.
The goal of this project was to build little fairy doors for this redditor’s niece.
It’s obvious that this person has serious craft and design skills. This flower crest is amazing.
Here you can really see the design coming together. The doors are made to look like entrances to magical realms full of fairies and pixies.
This second door is also really cool. The artist got this amazing detail by using a clay material that hardens when baked.
Here are the two magical doorways right out of the oven. Now all they need is a little paint, and they’ll be finished.
Once these doors are painted, the detail and design really show. The way the vines interweave on this door is really awesome.
I love that this one looks like the entrance to a magical castle. The little pink flowers on the vines are a nice touch.
All I can say is that this girl is lucky to have someone this talented in her family.

I know one little girl that will be so happy come Christmas day. Hopefully, this will inspire you to use your talents and make something special for those you care about. Imagine if we did special things like this for each other year round? What fun that would be!
