Deep below the surface of Siberia lies what could one day save the human race. No, it’s not a giant robot, but a “Noah’s Ark” of food. Preserved by the all-natural freezing temperatures, these 1.5 million seeds can be planted to yield all sorts of fruits and vegetables for survival. Hopefully, we’ll never have to break these seeds out from the freezer, but it’s nice to know that they’re available if a large portion of Earth’s crops are rendered useless.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad those seeds are down there, but we couldn’t save any steaks there as well? If anyone deserves a nice rib eye, it’s someone trying to survive on a barren planet.
