It’s Pets VS Christmas Decorations In An Adorable Battle For The Holidays

These pet owners must feel like it was only yesterday when they rushed down the stairs on Christmas morning and found the puppy or kitty they wanted sitting quietly by the tree. Fast forward a few years later and these bundles of joy are now weapons of X-mas destruction. Ornaments, presents, the tree itself — if it jingles, jangles, or dangles, these pets will do whatever they can to get their paws on it. Take a look at some of the worst offenders below. Don’t look into their eyes, though. Not if you want to be the one who somehow feels guilty.

1. Well, what makes you think they did it?

2. “Home so soon?”

3. Of course, the one time they work together is to destroy something.

4. If they can’t see what they’re doing is wrong, it must not be an issue.

5. This isn’t going to end well.

6. He’s got that look in his eyes again.

7. Where do you think you’re going, Mr. Snuggles?

8. They certainly look remorseful.

9. He was just trying to help. That’s his story now, at least.

10. I think those are officially their Christmas decorations now.

11. Rudolph the Ripped-Apart Reindeer

12. Poor pup probably thinks it’ll be stuck inside Christmas forever.

13. She won’t eat her dry dog food, but she likes this.

14. To be fair, that wrapping paper does look delicious.

How adorably destructive! Maybe it’s a good thing Christmas only comes once a year. I’m not sure how many times my poor heart can stand to see my favorite festive stuff ripped to shreds like that.
