An Artist Made Masterful Lego Versions Of Famous Paintings, Can You Guess Them?

Marco Sodano is an award-winning art director at Ogilvy & Mather Group in Hong Kong. He has a penchant for incredible, eye-catching images that will stick with you long after your last look at them. His series of Lego versions of famous paintings is a great example of his work. It’s nearly impossible not to be drawn into these. It’s even harder not to try and play along by guessing which legendary works are which.

Can you identify the famous paintings by Sodano’s Lego recreations?

The Girl With The Pearl Earring – Johannes Vermeer

Young Woman with an Ermine – Leonardo da Vinci

The Son of Man – René Magritte

Mona Lisa – Leonardo da Vinci

American Gothic – Grant Wood

Self-Portrait – Vincent van Gogh

How did you make out? I got all of them except for Self-Portrait. It’s incredible how many people can identify these famous works just based on their color schemes and general shapes. The human brain is a wonderful thing.
