Light up your home this holiday season with a gorgeous chandelier of lights. These glimmering holiday decorations look like complicated works of art, but in reality they’re incredibly simple to make. Using only plastic cups, Christmas lights, zip ties, and hot glue, you can make a “sparkle ball” in whatever size you choose. Check out the abridged instructions and examples below.
The final product is colorful and bright. Let’s see how they’re made.

Drill a hole in the bottom of each cup for the lights. You can attach cups to each other using a drill and zip ties.

Or, you can hold the cups together with clothespins and hot glue them to each other.

Attach cups to each other until you’ve created half of the ball. Then insert the lights.

Once you’ve built both sides, glue or zip tie them together.

Experiment with different colors and cup textures for unique looks.
