At work, the holidays are a time for Secret Santa, cookie swaps, and a whole bunch of office parties. Angela Westfield’s Minneapolis office, however, has its own type of tradition – a competition. Because nothing says “Merry Christmas” like “I won, suck it!” This year, Angela decided that she was going to win.
The competition was to see who could deck their cubicle out with the best and coolest seasonal decorations. Some people trimmed their cubes with tinsel, while decorated with lights and other ornaments. But Angela didn’t want there to be any question. She was going to have the winning cubicle.
While we can’t say definitively if she won or not (winners will be announced on Monday), we have a pretty good idea who will take home the gold this year.
Enlisting the assistance of her husband, Angela constructed an awesome cubicle log cabin made from cardboard carpet rolls.
Needless to say, it took a great deal of planning. The cabin had to be small enough to fit in Angela’s office, but big enough to cover her cubicle’s space and leave enough room for her to be comfortable.
In the end, her log cabin fit her entire cubicle while not taking up anyone else’s office space.
She then took to decorating the log cabin to make it nice and festive. She used fake snow, mini stockings, wreaths, twinkle lights, and even set up a cute snowman scene inside.
Let’s just say, her coworkers were a little bit jealous.
This is definitely the coolest office decoration I’ve ever seen.

Angela did a pretty incredible job with her cubicle decorations. Personally, I would love to have a log cabin cubicle all year round. That’s just me, though.
