This Christmas, one very unusual thief was let off the hook after he stole himself a holiday gift. Shoplifting is never ok – but what happens when the thief has no idea what the difference between right and wrong is? What if the shoplifter is also an adorable, fuzzy, four-legged pup? Well, in that case, there isn’t really much to do except laugh it off, and to let the dog enjoy his spoils.
Employees at the supermarket that the puppy perp hit seemed alright with letting go of the $2.79 that the dog lifted from his store. “Brand new customer, never seen him shop before. Didn’t even have his fresh value card!” the manager of the Smith’s Food and Drug in Murray, Utah joked.
