‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the hospital,
Not a creature was stirring, not even an audible.
The stockings were hung in the baby ward with care,
In hopes that Santa’s miracles would soon be there.
And soon the children came, all snug in their beds,
With Santa’s stockings keeping them warm up to their heads!

But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight, “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
Any baby born on Christmas at the Magee-Women’s Hospital at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center gets a special stocking, plus an adorable keepsake knit hat. Magee nurses have been organizing the event for several years, and they give away dozens of tiny hats each holiday season.
Best stocking stuffers ever!
