When you’re a kid, there’s nothing like getting some sweet wheels as a gift from your parents. They’re your first taste of the freedom of the open road (even if your open road is just your driveway).
One dad wanted to give his daughter a very special set a wheels. He built her an awesome pedal car. And this isn’t some halfway done cardboard boxcar with wheels and pedals – this thing is the real deal.
This was only the beginning – he acquired the roadster body, and then got to work hooking up the chassis to the frame.

He’s got two of the wheels on their axles, but you know what’s missing that’s really important?

The grill! Of course, he had to make sure the car had a cool grill – this is one of the details that really brings the pedal car to the next level.

Next up was the paint job – the design would be crimson and gold. To start, he applied primer.

Then, a beautiful coat of metallic gold.

Once the gold paint had dried, he began setting up the car for its next layer of paint which would complete the pattern.

This is a pretty awesome gift to get as a kid. Not only can you now ride around like a grown-up, but you can ride around in style too. This is definitely the childhood version of “living the dream.”
