A neighborhood in Waco, Texas, is locking up their cats after a rash of pet disappearances were traced to one of its residents. An 85-year old woman in the neighborhood had captured cats for an unspeakably horrible and gruesome purpose.
Residents were perplexed when they started noticing that some of their pet cats were disappearing.

Around the same time, people started to notice the fur coats that one elderly neighbor recently started to wear.

That’s when a neighbor put a private detective on the case. The detective managed to catch the old woman in the act of luring neighborhood cats into her basement. Investigators found that she was using cat meat to lure the creatures in.

When confronted about her activities, the old woman vehemently denied everything…until she was shown the video evidence against her.

That’s when she admitted in court to her activities. The old woman is expected to serve at least 18 months in jail for her crimes.

It’s estimated that she needed about 20 cats to make just one of her fur coats. Needless to say, 18 months doesn’t seem like a heavy sentence for such a crazy and terrible crime.
