These Plush Bunnies Are Totally Handcrafted, And Totally Adorable

If you think you’ve outgrown tea parties, or if you were never into tea parties in the first place, these charming creations just might make you think twice. These little guys are known as the Teacup Bunnies. They are just one of the collections of adorable plush creatures from the online crafting shop known as The Tiny Tea Party.

The mastermind behind the Teacup Bunnies goes by the name of Debbie-Lou online. Her menagerie of plush creations includes more than bunnies, and she hails from Bradford, England. Her precious little bunnies are created using vintage and upcycled fabrics embellishments, making each creation truly one-of-a-kind. Each bunny follows the same general pattern, with long ears and outstretched paws, but each has its own personality thanks to the selection of fabrics and accessories. The bunnies all take their inspiration from vintage items and motifs.

Idae and Myrtle

This pair was commissioned by a customer.

Judy

Judy was 60s retro-inspired, with her peace signs and big flowers.

Florence

Florence looks a bit different because the triangular central piece is the same fabric as the rest of her face, but it gives her an even sweeter expression.

Benedict

Benedict has a great color palette.

Midnight

True to his name, Midnight’s patterned fabric glows in the dark.

The White Rabbit

The original tea party bunny himself, complete with Alice-themed ear fabric.

Idella

Idella comes with extra charms on her ear as well as on her bow.

London

London, obviously, is inspired by all things classically British.

Belle

Each Teacup Bunny is about six inches tall, meaning they can fit comfortably in a teacup.

Bigwig

This bunny, modeled after the character Bigwig from Watership Down, is a bot more naturalistic than her other creations, but still just as cute.

Besides the Teacup Bunnies, Debbie-Lou also creates a number of other plush animals, including ones inspired by popular cartoons such as Pokemon and My Little Pony.

Ella

Ella is one of Debbie-Lou’s real life bunnies, who is just as adorable and stylish in her bow.

You can keep up with Debbie-Lou’s latest crafts by following her Instagram, where she also posts pictures of her real bunnies, who are just as cute as her creations. Her work can be found on her deviantART page, and, if you can’t live without one, you can buy a plushie of your own on her Etsy store.
