Although most of the Western hemisphere is bundled up for the chilly weather, high temperatures and sticky humidity are just around the corner (fingers crossed!). Air conditioners can take massive amounts of electricity to run, pumping up the price on your utility bill, and using unnecessary energy. One YouTuber and engineer found a solution to this problem with a solar-powered air conditioner. All he used was a five gallon bucket, styrofoam, a fan, PVC pipes, a solar panel, and ice.
