Sparnaay, who hails from the Netherlands, claims to be entirely self-taught. His still-life works of sandwiches and desserts, full of bright color and perfect detail, will make your mouth water. His work also includes similarly detailed and realistic images of other items, including flowers, soda cans, seafood, and marbles.

While they’re certainly delicious-looking, Sparnaay’s paintings also give his subjects a certain unexpected personality.
