5 Famous Cats Who Basically Make Way More Money Than You Ever Will

When I come home from a long day at work and find my cat has spent his day sleeping, occasionally knocking my things over, and nibbling on his food while I toil away all day at a computer screen, well… I admit it. I get pretty jealous. Of course I love providing for my little guy, but I wouldn’t mind switching places with him. Maybe for just a day. And he isn’t even making any money off his adorable kitten face.

These viral felines, however, are taking their Internet fame all the way to the bank.

1. Grumpy Cat

Reports are claiming that the foul-faced fluffball is earning up to $100 million for her owner, Tabatha Bundesen. Real name Tardar Sauce, Grumpy’s sourpuss has recently graced the small screen in her first Christmas special for Lifetime network.

2. Tara the Hero Cat

After braving a neighborhood dog to rescue her owner’s small son, this feisty feline reportedly raked in anywhere from $55,600-$463,700 for appearances like the first pitch of a Bakersfield Blaze game.

3. Two Talking Cats

With over 50,000,000 views on their cat-conversation video, they’ve been rumored to earn anywhere from $8,500-$70,700.

5. Keyboard Cat

Though he didn’t live to see his Internet fame as he passed away in 1987, this video from 1984 is still earning his owners $21,100-$175,800.

Maybe if I start sitting in boxes people will start paying me for being cute, too. It’s worth a shot, right?
